Reiki (pronounced ray--key) is a laying-on of hands healing technique originating as a Tibetan Buddhist practice thousands of years ago. it was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui and is a very simple but powerful technique easily learned by anyone. Reiki can never do harm as it is energy from the universe; and because it is a channeled healing, the energy is never depleted. Once you have Reiki, it is with you forever.
